I agree the RBs and Oline are nasty...Dalton is a game manager pure and simple...We will see at the draft how much all the winning turns into dollars at the pro game...

.....you're right......the only way to judge a good college player is to see how he does in the NFL......Great logic Pony...Great Logic!!

Could use ribs, sausage, chicken, brisket (sliced, not chopped), beans and slaw. I need enough for 10 people. My brother was going to bring but it sounds he isn't going to be coming over.

That or Angelos please

I'd argue he had a lot to do with the win against Clemson. 14-10 TCU win, he went 17-26 for 226 yards and 2 TDs and rushed 19 times for 86 yards. Also, no interceptions. Pretty complete performance I'd say. In 2007 TCU beat Stanford 38-36, Dalton was 23-23 for 344 yards and 2 TDs and no INTs and rushed for another TD.

I'm not sure what you're looking for. It's hard for a QB to 'carry' a team to victory when so many of their wins are blowouts. For example, in 2008 Dalton was 16-22 for 334 yards and 4 TDs while rushing for another. But it was a 54-7 win over Wyoming that quickly got out of hand. Or against Air Force that year he was 21-27 for 321 yards and 2 TDs while rushing for 2 more TDs. But that was a 44-10 win that was never in doubt. Not really his fault though, is it?

Either way, I think both the Clemson game and the Stanford game are good examples of Dalton gritting it out in close games and giving TCU the win.

What's the issue?
Dalton is an experienced senior that has worked well in their system.

They have Dalton for heisman campaigns over there...

They think he is the next peyton manning...my thought is that he is a game manager for a good team...not a winner that ups the level of those around him....

Folks, we had a QB by the name of Lance McIhenny (sorry if the spelling is wrong) who was not a pro prospect but handled his team to a National Championship just like Dalton is doing now. Lance was and I believe still is the highest winning SMU QB in history and no one could have done a better job than him. He was a manager of the game in the purest sense. I have trouble bad mouthing the type of QB that Dalton is. He has never impressed me with his on field play until the game is over and I look at the results. I personally think we need to lok elsewhere for some solid smack.
