What are the dates for the ESPN "30 for 30" special about TCU again?
So you're proud of the fact that you have a 30 for 30 based off having your football program shut down for 2 years? I guess bad publicity is better than none at all. And the project including the Hawaii Bowl was just a coincidence. Thad was already going to do a film about the DP. So don't think that you're on ESPN bc of last year's success.
Apparently TCU couldn't compete during the SWC ARM$ Race even though they paid up along with everyone else. Paying thousands of dollars and winning just a few games just equals a loser! Didn't it occur to you that TCU is NOT in the Big 12 (or any other AQ conference for that matter) for a reason? For your reading enjoyment through your violet tinted glasses: Deception In The Heart Of TexasBTW you never did answer when we can watch that ESPN special about TCU! When is it showing?

So is there an academic message board that i can go to and talk football smack?
This is f'n ridiculous. I know some of you smu fans hate this crap too. Can we talk football please, or do you guys just have nothing to say about your team?
At smu the talk revolves around building aesthetics.
At TCU we prefer to discuss which BCS bowl we will play in.

feel free to talk football. To date, however, here is how the froggie faithful "football" posts have looked:
TCU by 100! SMU sucks! Our conference rulz! Yall have a high school stadium! Pony's [sic] suck!
So, have a take, and try to make sense. Some of us would probably offer you up a beer on the Blvd if you made an attempt at sounding like you have a clue. Just ask your former kicker who posts on this board.

Ive tried my friend, and all i get is "go back to fort worth and paint your yellow bricks" see doesnt that [deleted] sound lame?! What do you think your team can do to slow us down? Do you really think you guys will have that much of an effect through the air on us? I dont think padron is athletic enough to escape our pass rush. We got RGIII a couple of times and he is much more of an athlete that padron, although padron has a better arm and is more of a qb. Just trying to talk football, lets see how far it goes.

The yellow brick is terrible...
The line is 18...everyone on here from TCU thinks you will win by 30....I was going to take SMU+18, but I figured all the big shots on here from TCU will give me SMU+30...
If anyone wants that, I will gladly accommodate...until then please leave...

And it continues. More "building" talk. I think we cover the spread. Im not saying by 30 but we win by more than 20. Padron will be pressured most of the night and your d wont be able to slow us down let alone stop us.
here is something that will make us both happy. Quote from the Baylor board:

Do you not agree that your campus looks like homewood suites, mesa arizona?
I will take SMU +25 whenever you are ready...

for starters, I don't think we can slow TCU down. Which is why I don't think a single punt should remain inbounds. I hope Sterling Moore plays and he's on Kerley all night. I think your running game will be a good test for our front 7, though I still think TCU scores...I dont know what did I predict, 38? As for the offense, I want to see how our line will do. One of the Tech bloggers mentioned that he thought Beachum would start at most Big XII schools. If your DE's are moving fast upfield, I do think our lack of a speed back will hurt. The spread vs. Tech was around 13. We lost by 8. The spread vs TCU is 18. I'm hoping for us to be within 10. 14 wouldnt shock me. 21 would suck. So there you go.

No i dont agree and i dont know why you guys harp on that so much. its a uniqueness that we have to our campus that nobody else has, your campus has red brick and so does every other campus in the deep south. If you took the names off the buildings and just plopped somebody in the middle of the campus they would guess 5-6 other schools before they guess smu, but i digress. Im not a betting man so stop asking. I predicted the score already but i dont gamble.

I can appreciate that. Well i dont know if your front 7 has been tested yet but they will on Friday. We threw the ball alot and pretty well against baylor so we will see how much we stick to the ground game. I know i said it in another post but with a half decent o-line and the running back from last year this would be a different game. that kid was pretty good, but i understand if he needed to go make money then go he must. If JJ punts to Kerley watch out the kid is electric, but i imagine he wont do that, We do have a pretty good core of receivers and some that are coming on strong as the season goes on. Should be a fun game for a while with us pulling away late in the first half. losing to the 4th best team in the country by 21 would be that bad. You would be better than baylor.

Should be an interesting game. TCU in my opinion is better than UT this year. So, it will be the biggest test we've had in awhile. We were a bit overwhelmed at Lubbock. Padron seems to have finally shaken off his sophomore slump (at Tech he missed receivers on dump offs). But he's still young and inexperienced. I am sure that Fatty Patty will put lots of different looks against our offense. I am sure the JJ has some tricks up his sleeve too. My view is will our OLine hold up. If they do, then I think we can make a game out of this. Line is faster than folks give him credit for. Not 50 yard speed, but hitting the hole speed. He's a lot like the old wishbone fullback. Good for 4-10 yards. Our only hope in this game is to get a few stops and roll on offense. If we can replicate the first half we had against Nevada, TCU won't know what hit them. If we can't, we won't know what hit us. On defense, I'm anxious to see how Hunt plays against a multi-phased offense. If he can cause double teams on himself, then the linebackers will have a clear shot all day. I'm hoping for a good game, but expecting a loss which is why we respond with yellow building smack. By the way, who blew on your buildings?
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

And I appreciate the honesty. That is enough said. I just wanted the admission from the SMU fan base that they can't compete this year and can only talk trash about stuff that doesn't matter to make themselves feel less inadequate. And with that I can bid you all adieu until next year. Look forward to watching Friday. Next year will be more competitive and two years you might even be favored with Padron as a SR. and the game being at home.
