I just looked it up online.....SMU is in Texas.
The name FrogBait is kind of counter intuitive... If you are a TCU fan, why would you want frogs to be used as bait? Are you admitting your silly little purple mascot should be used to feed bigger animals? This would make sense as a TCU Horned frog would be swallowed up and shti out if they were in a real conference... Either way, your campus and your name are both terrible...
Why on a football forum during the week of the SMU-TCU football game, is your only punchline about academics? We're not having a nationally televised debate about economics. I think the owners of this board need to add a board about academics since that's all you Ponies seem to be able to hang your hats on. Here's a lesson about debate. Your debate has to use facts not just opinions about whose campus is prettier to you. Our TCU fans have rattled off FACTS, as to why TCU is better than SMU and you just stick to your "our campus is better" (ignoring our new student union, admissions bulding, liberal arts building, dorms, endzone project, soccer training facility, next year's renovated stadium) and your "we were better in a newspaper article!". Please show me facts other than a subjective newspaper article as to what SMU has achieved recently that is better than TCU. I can go down the list on the campus side and athletic side (which this forum is about) as to reasons we dominate. Can you?

A better match up maybe but you think you guys will be ranked?!? Lets not get ahead of ourselves. You got one vote in week one. Don't let it go to your head.
At smu the talk revolves around building aesthetics.
At TCU we prefer to discuss which BCS bowl we will play in.

Agree with you about the National Champion. I guess you're referencing your conference mate Utah who got hosed when the beat Alabama? Agree with you there, they shouldve had a shot. Oh well.
Dear ignorant SMU Zebra fan, The use of the term "bait" in my user name must be difficult for someone of your level of competence to understand. You...my little friend are just bait. Meaning that you are not big enough......strong enough.....or important enough to pose a challenge. You are simply a prey, the Frog is the predator. You are at the bottom of the food chain. I hope this clears up the misunderstanding on the matter. You must be getting a really good education. I guess books can't teach common sense.

You are very very very stupid. My name in no way indicates that frogs should be used as bait. Every heard of Gator bait????? Tiger bait????? Oh, I guess not......ya'll don't have any kind of athletic tradition. Again.....very ignorant. Oh......and TCU rules their conference......what conference are yall in???? LOL....and ya'll are nobody in that weak sister. Enjoy your education that you think you are getting. A degree is a degree. A National Champion.....is a National Champion too I guess.
If TCU really rules the MWC, then why did the MWC pretty much offer to sell the farm in a desperate attempt to keep BYU from leaving? Seems to me like BYU has run that conference and will continue to run it until the day they leave.

Looks to me like BYU and Utah rule your conference. Take out baseball and its not even close. http://www.themwc.com/champ/mwc-reg-season-champ.html

that might fly (pun intended) if my user name included the word bait. However, I'm afraid it doesnt. Next you'll change your name to horse's [deleted] and say "no, ignorant dude, that's my name because that's what you are."

I took the liberty of doing some homework on horned frogs...turns out there is no such thing...they are actually lizards...
About 70% of the Texas horned lizard's diet is made up of harvester ants, though they supplement these with termites, beetles, and grasshoppers. So this is what Frogbait means, I think...since they aren't even frogs technically...but I get the point...
Learn something new everyday...figures a small regional academic college like TCU would have bad info...Maybe they need to stop spending on their nationally irrelevant football team and donate some money to their science dept...

I know quite a few Tiger fans, & Gator fans. Never heard any of them refer to themselves as 'Tiger bait' or 'gator bait' . They usually reserve that term for the opposition. I have seen a few TCU grads in a bass boat with glittery paint try to Master-bait (not pretty and one has to look away very quickly) and several that claim they are que@r bait. Maybe there is something to one referring to themselves as Frog bait that has a certain descriptive value in it.

Actually BYU was expecting the MWC to offer to sell the farm and they didn't. At the most we offered them to televise home games on BYU TV. That's maybe 5 out of 75 games the conference wouldn't have had broadcasting rights to, and I'm not so sure the conference wouldn't have still had a dual broadcast by Versus or CBSC. BYU hasn't run anything the last couple years. TCU and Utah have owned them. They haven't gotten within 30 of us the last two years. I'll admit they're better than we are at men's basketball. Wow, maybe we should have sold the farm. I mean it's not like football pulls in 100x the revenue that basketball does.... Oh wait, it does as evidenced by KU being without a conference if the Big 12 had blown up.

Again....I guess you weren't around when God passed out some common sense. My name is me screaming "FROG BAIT" at you. I'm yelling at you that you are frog bait......bottom of the food chain. I guess I'll go try to make fun of a person who can at least understand.

Offer to sell the farm to keep BYU....now you are just making stuff up!
The MWC called BYU's bluff about leaving and didn't give in to any of BYU's demands.

so if that were true, schoolyard bullies across America would wear t-shirts to school with P#ssy across the front, so that they could be screaming P#ssy at everyone else. Y'know, yelling to everyone that they are a P#ssy. I'm sure everyone would understand that, particularly those with common sense.

Dear IDIOT, I am calling YOU AND YOUR STUPID FRIENDS as little and low as small insects. Maybe I'm not even giving you the respect of a human. You are but a little ant....or fly....
