Just remember TCU will always be known as a top rate football program, while SMU will at best be known as the nice little 8-4/9-3 school across town. That is all.

TCU is not top rate until they prove it. So far I don't see any results at the end of the season. You are a 3 loss team at best in the SEC and possibly the big 12 until you can prove it

You have seen the #7 ranking the last two seasons including a BCS berth last year. You can point to the SEC, but why does everyone forget the Big East and ACC who also get AQ berths. We'd dominate everyone in those conferences and proved it with wins at Clemson and Virginia last year. SMU however would be probably the 4th best team in just the Big 12 North behind Nebraska, Mizzou and Kansas State.

Ok, sure. Ya SMU is on the rise...we know that. But last time I checked, the ACC and Big East suck. Last time TCU played a legit program besides Boise (Who is still superior) was Texas. You will never contend with them head to head

You don't consider Utah, Clemson, Oregon State, or BYU legit programs? You've proven you don't watch much CFB outside of the Texas and SMU games.

No. Utah is in the MWC, Clemson is inconsistent(although I give credit for beating them at Death Valley), Oregon St could very well be terrible by the end of the year, and BYU is mormon and in the MWC. Throw TCU in Dkr, The Shoe, Autzen Zoo, Bryant Denney, The Swamp, etc and I think they would [deleted] themselves

To TCUBCSBOUND:
You really are wasting your time here.
Not like "I just attended TCU for four (five?) years" wasted time, but still...

No, they don't. I will give them credit for one thing though (not the fans who spend their time cruising rival message board - that is just sad, but the program). TCU built a really nice, solid program despite having to face all of the disadvantages from the BCS System. Hats off to them. I still don't like them (their fans even less), but I respect the job they have done.

Utah beat Alabama in the 2009 Sugar Bowl and finishd the year ranked No. 2. As for BYU, what does being Mormon have to do with anything? They also took out Sam Bradford last year and then finished off his team, in what was pretty much an OU home game in Arlington. I don't understand why you would want to discredit a non-AQ program. You're just setting up built in excuses against your Ponies if you ever make it to the big time by saying they don't count because they're in C-USA. And for why TCU fans are on your board, it's because you have a few on our board as well and it's a RIVALRY week. It's not like we're over here every week.

So that would put you at 7th or 8th in the big 12
