TCU Game

Postby TCU-Quedog95 » Tue Sep 06, 2005 10:39 pm

After reading most of these posts I see why you guys lose 10 games a year. You have no pride, No Heart and lack the will to play football. SMU fans please do not quit now. The TCU game is around the corner and we need you to play your best so we can get a realistic scout team look before Utah. TCU 42 SMU 13

Best post in this thread. There is literally no opportunity in it for devastating comeback. Bravo, David.

Bad Fans?

Postby Duke Blue Blood » Wed Sep 07, 2005 9:31 pm

Bad Fans?!?!?

The purple passion tries to break the BCS bubble and they can not sell-out the concrete pit.

We suck. No doubt you will beat us, but we have not had a winning season since we came back. I have never known a winning season yet I missed my first game in 11 years out of boycott last year.

Go tell the bad fan story to someone who does not post on team websites. We are the only "real" fans we have left.

I second Duke Blue Blood, we're the only fans this program has got. We live and die by this "football team", and therefore have earned the right to [deleted] about them when we lose to [deleted] Baylor. I can count the wins I've seen on my two hands since I've been a student and alumni, and yet I come back every agonizing year. No pride? Bite me.

You know what it could happen. TCU players might not be fired up to play this game since SMU hasn't won this game in well over 5 years. Stranger things have happened. But I agree it is time to cut your coach loose. If SMU wants to revamp their football they need to get rid of the coach.

Luckily, you guys have a wicked good soccer team year in and year out. But good luck on a well fought battle Saturday. But I hope TCU wins. it's nice seeing your Alma Mater ranked in the Top 25 each week. 8)

I think since my time at school and as an alumni (all post DP), the greatest moment I have had in SMU football is opening Sports Illustrated to see the picture on ThadFilms posts...classic.

Oh and when I am actually in Dallas, I have not missed a game since I started at SMU...so take that no pride crap and shove it.

Wow - that score prediction looks so familiar to the ones being spouted this week by you toads.

Glad we could "be the scout team" for TCU prior to your big game vs. Utah - hope that worked out well for you guys on your way to your 10-1 top 10 finish.

Keep up your overconfidence and history WILL repeat.
