A terrible program? That's all you've got? Pathetic.

sure would be a bummer for someone if our "terrible" team finds a way to beat the #5 ranked team in the country

To pretend that TCU "dominates" SMU after a comparison of the Universities as a whole is laughable. As someone who grew up in Europe, a long way from either, I can tell you that no one has heard of TCU, and SMU garners serious respect....but anyway.
SMU has one of the finest arts schools in the country, we have oscar winners who went here, world renowned pianists and other musicians, dancers in all the best national companies. TCU is completely irrelevant when it comes to the arts.
SMU's business school has been one of the finest in the nation since before having crappy yellow-brick buildings was in style. TCU's business school isnt even as good as UTD's.
SMU has a law school. TCU doesn't.
SMU is now getting, regardless of what you think if him, a presidential library. TCU barely has a library.
And I seem to remember beating TCU's soccer team at least 8-0 a few years ago. If you look at the athletic departments as a whole, TCU could hardly be said to dominate. Perhaps you guys could try and unseat Texas Wesleyan as #1 ranked ping-pong team in the nation.....
And as for Friday, in the words of Kevin Keegan...."I will LOVE it if we beat them....LOVE IT!" Fantastic stuff.

Dude, this may be the most egotistical/ignorant/stupid post I've ever read. Yep....lets down a bunch of high school kids because they live in a rural community. Sorry there idiot......not everybody is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and handed daddy's money like all of the smu brats who went to HPark or SLC. SMU=Brats/Nerds But since I'm on here to talk trash about how pitiful your athletic and football program is........SMU is a bunch of social retards who don't have a prayer at winning this week.

Are you the same person as TexKev12 or are you brothers? Either way, the tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum routine is just a tag team of stupid. Nice work roping in the silver spoon and daddys money reference after I corrected your previous stereotype. I guess you can learn after all.

As a USC alum I unfortunately remember my No. 2 Trojans losing to the 41-point underdog Stanford Cardinal: 24-23, October 6, 2007! Hubris is a beatch! Sorry, I forgot we are dealing with the TCU lowest common denominator here: hubris or hybris (ˈhjuËbrɪs) —n 1. pride or arrogance 2. (in Greek tragedy) an excess of ambition, pride, etc, ultimately causing the transgressor's ruin
SMU - IT'S YOUR TURN FIRE JUNE JONES USC Trojan for Life and SMU Dad!

Why even respond to this type of post??? People like these get off on people getting worked up over something they say or do. I know its a little late now, but if no one posted anything back and let this post slide down to the bottom of the board, these childish and immature people would have had no satisfaction from it at all.

No response to the "terrible" part , but http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=272440130 comes to mind, for one. Anything can happen. It's why you play the game. I'm sure you're a blast on the sidelines in 1A football-ville. Maybe if you spent less time online you could actually coach for a school with more than 50 kids in a graduating class.
I have no desire to coach at a big school....4/5A....I enjoy the country, and the relationships I build with the entire school. .....ask Kevin Pope about his coaches, I know that Coach Louie Johnson and his staff at Mount do a great job....great coaching staff. I also know that TCU does a great job of recruiting kids from small towns and schools....3A and below....so I really don't see your point. Tank Carder, Jeremy Kerley, Mathew Tucker, are all from small schools......I hope they don't get scard in big bad Dallas!!!

Nothing wrong at all with small schools - I'm just questioning what kind of coach would spend all day trolling our message board.
