Just remember, wearing purple before the age of 10 has biological consequences.

He is 10 and it already shows. My brother-on-law inflicted those wounds (cheering for TCU) from the day he was born

Unfortunately, I'm wearing a mauve shirt today to work (all my others are at the cleaners). Which may explain why the founding members of TCU chose purple as their color. Everything else was on the clothesline. By the way, can some erudite TCU lurker come on and explain how TCU's founders chose a lizard as your mascot when some many other names were available back then.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Rivalries

The TCU Horned Frogs have an historic rivalry with the SMU Mustangs of Fort Worth's sister city, Dallas. In football, the teams compete annually in the Battle for the Iron Skillet. TCU leads the all-time series 41-39-7.

Traditionally, TCU's other biggest rivals have been those teams from the now defunct Southwest Conference, and attempts are made to schedule those schools as out of conference opponents. Most TCU teams play annually or bi-annually with Baylor University and Texas Tech University.

The Horned Frogs have also developed rivalries with BYU and the University of Utah, as well as with future conference school Boise State University.

The Texas horned lizard is the state reptile of Texas[8] and, as the "horned frog", is the mascot of Texas Christian University (TCU).[9]

 you're not interested in talking football, you want SMU fans to prostrate themselves before your powerhouse BCS program ( )... Please crawl back to whatever hole you came out of and stay there.

Honestly, where you get off considering that SMU is on the verge of surpassing A&Ms joke of a football program.
