I'm curious...why? I am sure that after they beat us in 1999, possibly they thought they were on their way to match our 15 game winning streak over their hapless program (1972 - 1986)? Did 6 W's over the re - building Mustangs from 1999 - 2004 give them that hope? The 2005 SMU 21 tcu 10 victory must have really stung these guys? Their new win steak over SMU at 3 games is impressive, I guess...I don't know about you, but our 1966 - 1986 run was impressive, to say the least...19 out of 21...if I was a frog, I would be pissed / bitter / suffer from an incredible inferiority complex / red headed step child / minor league mind-set as well, I guess I would come on this board blazing hate and venom to make up for YEARS of SMU dominance, I guess, don't know, I have never been in their shoes, losing so much for such a long time to one opponent, their biggest rival ...here's to a good game on Friday night....GO MUSTANGS!!!

In fairness, shouldn't any wins between 1989-2007 count as only half a win? Kind of like anybody beating Wazzou.

Math major? More of an analysis of data / facts / information....trying to understand the 2006 "duck", the fact that we have played a long series is more impressive v. your "4 more W's" after almost 90 years of play...I think the 1966 - 1986 SMU run speaks volumes towards tcu complex about never being as good as SMU, at least that is my take..your recent success is impressive, no doubt, but pales in comparison to our runs v. you guys...enjoy this "sanp shot" in time, sort of feel it is short lived, and will never compare to our complete dominance of you guys, at least in my lifetime...curious to know your age? What was you minndset 1966 - 1986? How did you feel in 2005? Why did you guys duck us the next year? Just curious, not trying to flame you, just looking for some logic / feedback....Go Ponies!!

Looks like TCU caught up and past SMU on a bunch of post DP wins against our weakened teams that had one had tied behind their backs . Before that we owned them.

I love how you don't want to count the post DP wins......yet you are all about talking about the greatness of those teams against TCU......At least Wacker had the nuts to turn in our cheating....You guy's did took it to a whole new level, and now want to talk about how great you great you were.......You can't have it both ways.

Good point SMU 86....no doubt. I would point out, that "post DP", our absolute weakest period, we still had some "moderate" success v. our historical whipping boys. From 1992 - 1998, we took 4 out of 7....but, your point is well taken, post DP, tcu has won 15 out of 20, with 6 in a row (1999 - 2004) being their longest streak....then we beat them (2005), they got mad, and ducked us in 2006, at least that is my take until an educated tcu-er tells me otherwise...Go Ponies!!!

TCU was just as bad as SMU. We just got caught more. And Wacker got caught then he turned in a sacrificial lamb booster. If we had went on probation and not lost our program we would still have owned TCU. But anyway it is what it is but don't think you are comparing apple to apple on post DP wins. But if you want to take those types of wins that's you.

We were scheduled to play Texas Tech this year....Tech backed out late last year so that they could play Texas early again......we had to find a replacement. Anymore questions about the schedule?

Why did you duck your 85 year historical rival for one year in 2006?
