.....what is your point? You play in CUSA. ....yes TN Tech is what we came up with, almost every college had a date filled, that's what happens when another school backs out. Did you have an IEP in school?

TCU has the easiest scheduled of any top ten team per ESPN. Also, Patterson said that he schedukes one D1AA every year.

But if you want to take those types of wins that's you.
TCU, like all SWC schools, did have a habit of cheating back in those days. BUT, we were not as bad as SMU, which showed a habitual and flagrant disrespect for NCAA guidelines and failed to correct its behavior even after a series of minor NCAA sanctions. The SMU student paper did a very good story on it last semester.

No doubt we got what we deserved as did TCU although what we each deserved was a bit different. But...the injustice of it all is that there were others that were anything but clean that got no punishment at all...and I think we all know who I am talking about.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

They probably had the schedule out before the season started, yeah? Or did they lose and buy out the next season's game. There's an empty display case waiting for the skillet. I'd love to see JJ fry up some frog legs on the fifty after the game.

Surely you are joking. Have you checked Boise's schedule? And the reason the Frogs ducked the Stangs in 06 was clearly that they were scared of the SMU powerhouse that year. Didn't want to schedule another sure defeat.

I don't remember exactly, but since schedules are usually set a couple seasons in advance, I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the fact that we won in 2005.

We were scheduled to play Texas Tech this year....Tech backed out late last year so that they could play Texas early again......we had to find a replacement. Anymore questions about the schedule?
Actually, your replacement for the Tech game was the Oregon State game. You were scheduled to play Texas Tech but ESPN wanted to move UT-Tech up for TV purposes. That caused conflicts with the game between Tech and TCU. To compensate TCU, ESPN agreed to find an opponent to put on a game at JerryWorld - they found Oregon State, ESPN agreed, and the rest is history. You have not yet explained why you guys scheduled Tennessee Tech.
