Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUThe Frog nation thanks you greatly for going to SMU rather than TCU. In so doing, you improved the academic level of both institutions. Again, thank you.
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCU
I will give you that one....nice retort .......Pollywog!
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUCan't believe the following:
1). Amon Carter's descendents butt cheeks made the news. Guess he should have had more lunches in Dallas when he came to visit - maybe married a pretty SMU co-ed instead of the in-breeding that obviously occured. 2). A frog actually called someone a "nerd" and thinks of it as a big put down....- apparently stuck in an endless "groundhog day" episode of Saved by the Bell.

I don't mean to be a [deleted] but what year? If you're serious...care to make a bet? Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUI applied to TCU and got accepted, but chose SMU due to a superior theatre program (we actually audition people) as well as an overall (vastly) better education.

Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUVisiting my cousin at SMU, I fell in love with SMU right off the bat. How could you not with that campus? We took a drive to TCU (being an east coast kid I didn't really know much about the rivalry or the school) to check it out as well. Awful. Ugly campus, ugly frat "houses" (dorms), depressing town, and I didn't see as many hotties walking around in sun dresses like I did in 5 minutes at SMU. Didn't even bother applying and why would I have when I was accepted early decision by SMU?
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUI visited both schools, the problem was the day I visited TCU it was raining and that pretty much ruined the visit. also the road that goes through the middle of campus left me a little perplexed...
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCU
LOL.......theatre!!!!! That sums it it.
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUYou can't go wrong with either school. Both have great looking girls, fun stuff to do, and you can pick up an education along the way. I went with TCU, but SMU would have been just as fun. That said, GO FROGS.
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUI visited several schools, including TCU before selecting SMU. Oddly enough, I actually liked Fort Worth very much. I think the people there are very nice, laid back, and have built some really nice golf courses. The town has some wonderful neighborhoods and no doubt many of the amenities one finds in Dallas. But the people I met at TCU, and the TCU alums I ran across, were absolutely the nerdiest human beings I have ever met. I am not saying this to be mean, but if you go over there even today you will find the TCU hangouts full of the same type of folks.
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCUOnce I saw the buildings that looked like someone had yakked on them, I decided that TCU wasn't for me.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Why I Didn't go to TCU
You guys can laugh all you want at me, but you Frogs have come here and made more spelling and grammar errors in 3 days than I have made in my entire life. Also, the theatre program has an Oscar winner to it's name. Yours? A Mustang Fan and an SMU Class Of 08 Theatre Major. Believe It.

Re: Why I Didn't go to TCU
