For those that say TCU cannot be the #4 team because of how they looked tonight...I guess OU can't be in the Top 10 since they only beat Utah State at HOME by 7. I guess Wisconsin can't be in the Top 10 because of a 1-point win over a horrid Arizona State team. UT can't be in the Top 5 either with a 17-point win over Rice. USC shouldn't be in the Top 50 if this is the case. SMU is 2 touchdowns better than Utah State, Arizona State, and Rice.

If a 17-point road win over a rival and a team on the cusp of being a legit Top 25 mainstay makes us undeserving of our ranking, then the Top 25 would should be heavily rearranged.

It's a rivalry game - kind of like USC/UCLA - you know about that one -- anything happens on those games. They are good.

I imagine this was covered but I haven't read all the pages of this thread........I don't blame the officials for any loss, but there were way too many bad and obvious non-calls from those last night. First they missed at least 3 pass interference calls that were easily seen, that WAS a fumble---ESPN showed a shot and it was coming out before his arm hit the field and KP took a few shots that could have been called as well. That being said I thought ESPN was much better, compared to the coverage of the tt game, at not missing plays. Got tired of listening to the announcers talking down about SMU the whole game. I think TCU is over-ranked. If I was a player thinking about which team I would want to play for I could have made my decision based on the classiness of the coaches-------that certainly showed from the sideline shots shown.

I am also sick of hearing about "style points"!!!! I always thought that running the score up was poor sportsmanship.......style, my rear-end!!!
