You better learn to suck it up or you are in for 60 years of misery. Mrs. Johnson should also attend a TCU game in FW before passing judgement about SMU and Ford.
However, I strongly disagree with booing the opponsing team when they enter the stadium. I think the silent treatment has much more effect.
Hmmm. Not sure, but isn't it SMU folks that every year before the TCU game sell hundreds of "TCU SUCKS" t=shirts? Classy.

TCU SUCKS T-Shirts sux and are an embarrassment to the person wearing them. Cheer for you own team not against your opponent.

I sometimes wonder if you are for us or against us because everytime you post an argument stating what's wrong with the program, you strategically change it to something else when your argument is quashed.
At least, that's my take on it.

Right — they printed Mac Engle's pro-Frog diatribe, so there's no reason they can't print this whiny rant, either.

The booing of TCU at halftime was good-natured fun. It was just telling the Frogs that they were the bad guys. I guess the Johnsons missed the TCU fan who kept trying to drape a TCU banner over the tunnel entrance?
Besides, TCU huddled on the field and held up SMU from going into the lockerroom. There was a lot of confusion on the field as halftime began.
Coaches and security held up the SMU team, I assume because TCU was supposed to enter the tunnel first. But Patterson got so caught up in his rah-rah speech at midfield they eventually told SMU to go in. If anything, TCU deserved to be booed for that.
Hopefully, one day we can go back to the original plan to have the visiting team enter and exit on the south end, underneath the home side, rather than share the same tunnel with SMU. Kind of silly to have a modern stadium with only one tunnel, and the visitors have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to their locker room.

Why don't we go back to the Ownby like days and make the visitors run across the street to Moody?

While I don't like them, the shirts are definitely classier than the Muck the Fustangs shirts I see TCU folks wearing.

We work with every team pre-game to ensure that we can go in to the tunnel last and we've never encountered a team that has been against us doing so (for obvious reasons - getting to the locker room quicker). It was no different for SMU and they willfully agreed.

Booing players has gone on forever. What was not good was our fans (sounded like the students) booing when the TCU Alma Mater was introduced. I did not like that.

Well, someone didn't get the message on the SMU sideline. They clearly held the team up so TCU could go into the locker room first. I think some of the TCU staff exited early, which may have confused them into thinking the rest of the team was leaving the field. Oh well. This wouldn't be an issue if we used the stadium the way it was designed. The ramp entry on the southwest corner was meant to be for the visiting team's use. I've been told that sometime after Ford was finished, someone had an "Uh oh" moment and realized they needed a place to house field maintenance equipment or somesuch. Thus, the space that was meant to be the visitor's locker room was converted to storage. After 10 years, seems like someone could come up with a solution so that both teams wouldn't have to use the same entrance/exit.
