its where an inside receiver runs a delayed route and tries to catch the ball near the center of the field where hopefully he will have a convoy of lineman to pop a big play off a short delayed pass. Other receivers usually run longer routes taking the secondary with them to open space in the middle

The 11-year-old enjoying the Kool-Aid.

Missed the episode post TCU and leading up to Rice. Since I have the show on automatic record on CBSCSXSGGTTESXF, she's catching up now and watching it.

Her quote, "It's cool that SMU has its own show.''

I don't need to follow that.

Oh, I agree. Dead Lobster is one of the last places you want to eat what they consider, seafood. Nasty

Best 30 minute football coaches/players-type show on tv. Whomever was behind this knows what they are doing. Very insightful. Bubble screen is when the slot receiver backs off and runs to the outside and catches pretty much a flat pass and trys to beat everyone to the outside with the wide receiver blocking one on one and beating the safety help. No lineman are involved such as in a regular screen. We have had trouble with completing it for some reason. Usually good for 5-10 yards but everry now and then might break one. Puts pressure on the db's to come up quickly and to fight through blocks to make the play. Makes em play the short pass and not just play off.
