if so, that will be less a blow now as later, vs UH, UTEP. Lots of run support needed from Moore's position for this to have a happy outcome...wonder if there could be (another ?) medical redshirt?

Ouch, now our secondary is completely impotent. The front 7 will have to step up once again to keep them from getting exposed roundly.

I hope our offense is able to really get it going against UH and East Carolina. We're going to need it now.

hmmm...that is a real shame. He is a hitter, and enjoyed watching the brevity of the last two seasons work.

BTW counselor, why aren't you in the Baltimore area for this shindig tomorrow?

You would think that this type of injury info would have been kept quiet. Especially so close to the day of the game.

As bad as this is for this season, I sure hope it brings to light the need to recruit more JUCO CBs in 2011 as we really are in serious need of depth at CB and most freshmen just can't cut it their first year. As good as this team has become, I just don't understand why we are in such bad shape behind Moore at CB. I mean we should be able to find some JUCO guys with size that can play....That said, I have nothing against Bennie Thomas. He is a tough kid and will give a 100% effort on the field.

After learning of this I hope we can still get bowl eligible without a strain.

What a blow! The number one need for next year is DBs! Maybe Sterling can come back like he did last year for the Hawaii Bowl game.
