I see why Gary Patterson keeps a tight wrap on the media. Since colleges are not required to release injury info. Coaches like Mark Dantonio and others don't discuss injuries to the media. I hope we adopt a similar policy.

With or without Moore, you just have to grind it out and move on. What I like about this team is that it rallies around each other.

We're probably going to get tested back there. Time for whoever -- Parks or Thomas -- to embrace the opportunity.

BTW, can people stop using the words, "Doom" and "Crisis" when it comes to a football team and this and that? That's ridiculous.

A crisis is when your home is flooded NOT when your starting cornerback is out.

Ha!
Nobody in the entire thread used either Doom or Crisis until YOU except one poster who said this would NOT be a dooming situation. EVERYBODY REMAIN CALM.

The word crisis was not used in this thread until you used it. The word doom was not used, but dooming was. However, the full post read: "If our offense gets it in gear this won't be a dooming as it seems. We can't squeek by with 24 points anymore and win however."

Ha! This was a pre-emptive strike so knuckleheads wouldn't go down that path. I didn't even read the thread and the dooming line until YOU made me aware of it.

I really need someone to explain this to me. Do you think that Navy gathered up at midnight and put the run and shoot offense in to take advantage of Moore being out. If this has occurred in the Tulsa game, Navy still would not have changed their game plan at all. And with Moore's problem having been acting up all year, if our coaches were not preparing someone to step in at any time, shame on us. I fail to see any reason why this needed to be kept secret from the time it happened, and especially not from midnight last night.

I agree as it wasn't put out for some public consumption until last night WAY after Navy had completed their game situations....they are not going to change anything in their game plan and really can't at this late date, believe me. It will be option Dobbs, and option Dobbs all day long, with or without someone named Moore back there.

Sterling might have been the difference in the Navy game.

What a killer injury. The young guys are going to be good, but CB is one of the hardest positions to come in and play early - even Sterling wasn't ready to play until the middle of last season. I think Acker, Parks and Gray will be able to help us out tremendously next season, but those guys aren't ready yet and Thomas isn't a good enough athlete. Robinson was supposedly looking good but was hurt in fall practice and haven't seen him at all.

Add that to the fact that Crawford has been gimpy the last couple of weeks, and things are looking really bad for us at corner. Offense is really going to need to start scoring points bigtime.
