Me too. Saw a day game versus the Braves during the day, and drove to Milwaukee for a night game versus the Yanks. Fans could have some fun climbing that goal post attached to the stands.
Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestsern vs UofI
I guess it's good for the spectacle, but there will be some really crappy seats at that game. Those in the right field bleachers won't be able to see a TD scored.
Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestern vs UofIBears played there for years...but there are a lot of bad seats for concerts and football games, all of which have become increasingly popular as the new owner try to milk what they can out of that place...
Fitzgerald, the NU coach, has different red zone plays for each end zone... I do like Northwestern, because they remind me of SMU a bit..but I will not be going to Wrigley... I will not give any more money to that organization until they prove they know what to do with it...not that it matters because it is sold out all the time anyway...
Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestern vs UofILawyers are going to have a field day Sunday morning after someone breaks their arm.

Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestern vs UofIGround rule question. Receiver running to the back of the end zone leaps to catch a ball. He Makes the catch while airborne, continues in the air and hits the ivy and bounces off back into the end zone. TD or OB?

Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestern vs UofI
Bears played there until 1971 when they moved to soldier field. I attended many games there, they moved temporary stands all along the west side, with the third base side being the east side. Curious how they will set it up, but then again, Hockey worked out well there.
Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestern vs UofIThe hockey game was very cool, but other than that most events stink...
Re: Wrigley hosts Northwestsern vs UofI
it's better than having a gator at the back of the endzone, anyone remember that accident from last year? im excited for this game and i wish i could be there. there is no other structure in the united states that has ever hosted as many football games as wrigley field. the irony is that im sure the grass is better and more robust than in soldier...know why? thats right, the park service doesnt touch wrigley.
