Very true, we need to tap the brakes and play them one at a time. Houston's loss knocked them out of it. Now it is just us and Tulsa and we own the tie-breaker.

ECU is still a dangerous team, they can score a lot of points, they have beaten some decent teams this year (Tulsa, NC State, Southern Miss (who demolished Houston and has given UCF their only conference loss). Definitely are going to have to play well to win.

We lose this game, we are in a dilemma. Tulsa/USM play right after us. If Tulsa wins, we are bowling. If they lose we are going to Championship game and have to beat UCF on the road to make a bowl.

I would rather play for the championship no matter what, even if that could possibly mean no bowl.

Beat ECU and we have no worries, but don't look at the Rice score and assume that we will have an easy time. Will be a tough game and we need to play well.

If we lose, a bowl berth is still very much up in the air.

BEAT ECU!!!!!!!!!
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

FYI. There is a chance that we are not bowl eligible. If SMU loses to ECU and Tulsa loses to Southern Miss, then we go to the conference championship game, which counts as a 13th game. If SMU loses the conference championship game, it will be 6-7 and below .500. SMU would not go bowling with a sub-.500 record.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
