June was all over AR on that second interception Padron threw. I'm assuming he made the wrong read which led to Kyle throwing the ball to the other guy.

Couldn't really tell what happened on the first one. It looked either like a bad throw or the WR quit on the route? Was that AR on that one too?

yes, but it sure was nice that we finally picked some up on the defensive side of the ball; great to have Sterling back and Crawford played a good game

The first interception was a case of going to the well once too often coupled with staring the receiver down. The CB baited and waited and jumped the route. Bad decision and execution on Padron's part on that one. Could have been a good time for a pump fake and an out and up but I am coaching with 20/20 hind sight.

Give credit to the corner. The CB jumped the route and picked the pass. Yeah, great place to fake the pass and throw the up, however, that wasn't the play called. Any "Sunday-morning QB" could call for the fake. Scholarship players compete for Marshall as well. Their CB made a great play. The second INT is a direct result of our receiver running the wrong route. See JJ eat butt for clarification.

yeah, that was a powerful staredown of AR by JJ. AR knew it as well...straight to the bench with his head down for awhile.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but AR was poised to redeem himself-and the final wouldve been 38-17-had Kyle not been sacked the next to last time we had the ball. AR was open going down the middle of the field, and after the sack you could tell Kyle, JJ and AR all knew what was missed out on.

Except for the probable misread by Padron or AR, all other interceptions happened when the ball was thrown into the wind. I wonder if the wind held the ball up just enough for D backs to make plays. Also, Sterling Moore's great pass break up was on a long pass into the wind. The flags on top of the stadium were pretty straight most of the game.

And if wind was a big issue, then one really scratches their head that we game MU the ball AND wind to start the 2nd half.
