Weather update from Greenville

Postby carolina stang » Fri Nov 26, 2010 10:14 am

A little chilly this morning and cloudy. Big news is there is a WNW wind of 17-25 mph that is supposed to remain all day. Just back from Starbucks and it is very gusty outside. I was here in 06 with Hoofbeat for the ECU game but don't remember the configuration of the stadium that well and how it is affected by wind. Regardless, it will have some effect on the passing game if conditions continue as current. Thank you and good night.

I would have to think high winds would play in our favor. Both teams love to throw the ball, but we have a much better running game.

And we use a lot of short passes.

Agreed on both counts. It is now raining, but the wind has died down a little. No Cal says this blew through Raleigh awhile ago, so it may not be that much a factor. Rain is supposed to stop around game time.
