if those BCS projections hold true, bummer for Mich St who can argue they will be the best one loss team not playing in a BCS game. I'm sure they wish they could have played Ohio State this year.

Nice "consolation" game against Alabama, though

I think bsu would kill msu

Msu has several weak wins (ND was fun, but lucky as well) and who'd they lose to?

I wish Boise could play them, but Mich St will get to play Bama if those projections hold true; actually...after that loss to Nevada, it's the Wolfpack that can claim THEY are the most deserving one loss team from a NAQ conference

Oh, boo-hoo for Mich St - the current system will always manage to royally screw one or more schools - so they probably feel they should get TCU's spot, since they're not an AQ school, right? Guess it's time for them to start paying attention to basketball while the rest of us finish the football season.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

My guess is that Boise will give its finger to the WAC bowl tie ins a year early and end up versus Utah in the Las Vegas.

When are the mid-level BCS schools like Texas Tech, Michigan St., Oklahoma St etc goin' to realize that the BCS will screw them worse than TCU and Boise? Its a beauty pageant and it favors a select few glamour teams.

As long as they keep getting the $$ they probably don't care. I imagine they get paid quiet handsomely for the one or two times they get screwed over. They are in BCS position once every five years or so, but the OSU's, Texas, and Alabamas are there every year since they start out so high. The BCS is a vicious cycle; outsiders not allowed.

i agree that some great schools are getting screwed, but that's not nearly as bad as the potential unjust rewards for florida state and uconn.
