My two cents:
Most Outstanding Player: Zach Line. Before the season started, Athlon Sports had SMU's running back position ranked as the worst in C-USA. Zach Line led the conference in rushing. Guess he showed them.
Outstanding Lineman: Kelvin Beachum. He not only protected Kyle Padron's blind side, he also opening a lot of wholes for our running game.
Outstanding Defensive Player: Ja'Gared Davis. Put constant pressure on opposing QBs; added bonus - scored two touchdowns.
Most Improved Player: Richard Crawford: After a shaky start against Texas Tech, finished season with three interceptions in last two games.
All-Madden team (Offense): Cole Beasley. Made several clutch receptions on third down to keep drives alive.
All-Madden team (Defense): Pete Fleps. Rock solid throughout the year.
Most Likely to star in NFL: Aldrick Robinson. Will probably duplicate the success of Emmanual Sanders.
Most Inspirational Player: Chris Banjo. A steady influence on a secondary that was ravaged by injuries and academic casualties.
Unsung Hero: Adrian Klemm. An outstanding recruiter.
A belated thank you: Phil Bennett. Please, no hate mail. But he recruited Beachum, Robinson. Fleps and Youri Yenga.

I'd agree with all of these. I dont think Beachum is going anywhere though he is a junior.

You're right, Beachum was a redshirt. I've made the correction.

I would have to go for Sterling Moore as the most inspirational. Our D really missed him when he wasn't able to play.

I'd also say Sterling gets the defensive MVP, our D was entirely different when he was out.

Outstanding Offensive Player: Zach Line (he should get C-USA Offensive Player of the Year, too) Outstanding Lineman: Bryce Tennison (amazingly athletic, and has played through a lot of injuries) Outstanding Defensive Player: Sterling Moore Most Improved Player: Zach Line — not even close Most Likely To Star In NFL: Taylor Thompson, Ja'Gared Davis Most Inspirational Player: Ryan Smith (that story about the bleeding in his chest still scares me) Unsung Hero: Taylor Reed
