Depth will be key next year. The fact we return so many starters and have folks pushing them will be great. There have been times it was obvious our guys were gased, look at the Navy games, and to some degree the TCU game. The 4th quarter you got to have some fresh legs to rotate when guys like Margus and Taylor go down. Same goes for the OL.

Dissappointed in the loss, but UCF was the favorite at home in one of the larger schools we play. Lets rest our guys and take care of Army.

Future is bright. SMU football is back on the map. However the glory days of the SW conference will never return. I anticipate that we will crack the top 25 next year and in 2012 we should consistently be in top 25. I enjoy seeing the match ups with old SWC teams (Arkansas, Tech, Baylor, TCU, A&M) even if they are out of conference. Who knows what conference we will be in but we need to schedule big and win.

Next year we need some of the receivers to step up. I like what I see from Darius Johnson but think the big star will be Keenan Holman.

We need some DB help but think we will need to see some top recruits show up or we could have some trouble here.

At QB, we will have 4 that could start and think that it is not a given that it will be Padron.

Next year will be the first year in a long time that we will have a mature team consisting mostly of Jrs an Seniors. Even with injuries, non qualifiers, grade issues, etc we should win a lot of games.
