Over the last 2-25 years

Postby SMU89 » Sat Dec 04, 2010 11:55 pm

What would we be talking about?

We have a lot to be thankful for...appreciate all the players who went through the tough times and those now working hard to consistently reach goals and bring the program higher each year.

Let's enjoy the Armed Forces Bowl.

Beat Army.

Well said, 89.

After 25 years of ineptitude ... back to back bowls.

Hell yes!

I agree! All this talk about firing the defensive coordinator or HC is ridiculous. Those fans are the reason PB came up with the comment about forgetting more football than the fans will ever know. Rebuilding takes time and we should win about 9 games next year and possibly go undefeated the year after. Anyone who expected more than what was accomplished this season knows very little about college football. Sure, we had our opportunities, and gave some away, but all teams do that to a certain extent. If you want to go after Coach Doh for not producing after 4 years fine. However, to suggest that the game has passed JJ by, when we are in our third year, are the second best team in the conference, heading to a bowl for the second consecutive year after failing to do so for 25 years and currently have the best recruiting class in the conference and are in the top 50 in the country is simply foolish and arrogant.

For a Ponyfan to take advantage of a hot Armed Services Bowl commodity of ticket flipping to a naive public, and maybe even take advantage of people that actually serve in the Armed Services protecting our great country is shameful. ;-)

No one in the service is going to pay $350 for a seat to that game. People that pay that price are the bandwagon fans that did not invest into season tickets Mustang Club etc. And are willing to pay now . Its still much less than what they would have paid for the donation and seats.

If you "pony up" for 33 at the Bowl you might be able to scalp it also. If not, I could sponge off of you as always.
