SMU/JJ Salary Comparable to Florida/Muschamp?

Postby RE Tycoon » Tue Dec 14, 2010 12:28 pm

Reports are that Muschamp will make $2.7/year. I've seen JJ's salary reported between $2.2 & $2.8 million, but I'm not sure if that figure includes assistant salaries, or even if those figures are correct.

If the CoC is on board long term to provide the salary for our coach, I feel great about being able to bring in another big name after JJ retires.

Hopefully they AREN'T on board to pick up salary forever. I hope winning and generating more revenue puts the university in a spot where they're committed to hiring successful coaches.

That really is embarrassing as all it takes is 5,000 alums to buy 2 tickets and we sell out our allotment. No excuses!!!!
