Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the pricing is a concern and it is under review. We are only a few weeks old, so we're still trying to work out all of the kinks! Because of overhead costs and the quality of food we are going for, we won't be at the same price point Milo's or 1st & 10(although we love them both!). However, we do very much want Brackets to be a home for Pony fans of all ages. Keep up with the feedback, we're listening. We'll be open on the 30th after the bowl game, so come see us to celebrate the big win. Pony UP!
Maybe drink specials for people wearing Pony Gear?

Thanks for the response Brackets. I certainly wasnt trying to be critical. I was commenting on what I could see from the website and the pricing therein. I certainly think that a comparison to Milos and First and Ten is apple and oranges and therefore not vaild. But I am curious about the target audience for the place, considering the price points and the activities offered. They just seem to be at odds. I just don't want it to be a muddled disaster like hully and mo's or other "high-end" sports bar concepts that bite the dust in 8 months. I just hate seeing people lose all of their investment in a concept.

Eddie,

Our position is to appeal to an array of audiences. The idea behind the design of the interior was to create different zones with different functions which are all physically and aethetically distinct. There could at any one time, for example, be SMU students in the gaming area throwing darts and playing pool, some young alumni at the main bar and dining area watching sports, and an alumni reunion at the quieter front dining area, all enjoying our unique menu and drinks. We've tried to put together an exciting social enviroment with upscale fare to add to the neighborhood. Cheers!

Never underestimate the scum that can materialize in that area on any given happy hour or sporting event.

I'm impressed the Brackets people responded. Maybe my group of friends will try this out now.

What is traditionally the most expensive beer in the city? Sporting events.

24 oz. Miller Lite can at American Airlines Center - $10
Your Miller Lite 12 oz. bottle - $5

And there's not even a live game in progress. Good luck.

as was said earlier, the only places with BMC priced that high are live venues & titty bars.

$5 for a domestic bottle beer and 6.5 for a draft is just too expensive.
Typically you'll see a beer for 3.50 and a draft for 4 or 4.50 in your exact neighborhood. Take a poll, not too hard. (Urban Taco, Campisi's, Martini Ranch, Trinity Hall)

SMU students recognize price. They are some of the loudest winers about it, despite the relatively upper middle class population. Have they started tipping yet?
