Insiders says that Eaton will take three official visits -- Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, and SMU. Could take other visits but these are at the top of his list right now.

Wow - what a coup that would be.

Did the Insiders report say whether he still wants to play football, or is he resigned to a college career of hoops only? I keep reading that he's even better in football than he is in hoops .... and having seen him play at the Coca-Cola games at Moody over the summer, that's saying something.

Chances are slim, but it sure would be nice to land him. I guess it would just keep our 4 year cycle going of 1 decent recruit.... Sasser, Hopkins, etc...

In the new Rivals rankings Eaton is #20 in the nation.

There are local kids all over the top 100. DISD has three players in the top 35, Eaton, #25 Calvin Miles/Skyline, and #35 Kevin Rogers/SOC. Other area players include, #44 Roderick Flemings/DeSoto, #49 Austin Jackson/Denton Ryan, #56 Terrel Harris/South Garland, #67 Gary Flowers/Lincoln, and #97 Jeremy Mayfield/Irving MacArthur. Our backyard is loaded.

Hopefully, Coach Tubbs (with his local relationships) is the farmer who can walk out the back door and into the yard and harvest a bumper crop.
