“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

From what I'm hearing, you are going to get your wish. When he registers for spring, I'll give you the name.

Everyone has been talking Shawne Williams forever, and no way they take a Sonnier. TJ Taylor would be a coup, but heard he's not a big fan of Doh, which is understandable

Like picking up someone off waivers. They can't play for another year.

Let's hope Leslee Smith & Richmond Vilde don't show up on this list next season.

Getting Giles to SMU has been huge. He's already next season's MVP before he even steps foot on the court. Giles impact is something that could change the face of SMU basketball. The local pipeline that is forming is a beautiful thing & something I've been waiting on for years. As far as the possible transfer, I saw him play several times in HS. I also saw RN & Malone play in HS. You can't even compare the 3. This would be a huge upgrade in talent. Also, I have no concern @ all about the new players not coming to SMU if there is a coaching change. All of them are probably aware of BCG rumors, etc. & wouldn't be surprised if its already a topic behind the local AAU scenes.

If we can somehow land Williams and combine him with Cunningham... then I'm willing to give Doh another year to see if the influx of talent can turn it around.
Back off Warchild seriously.

First, we wouldn't release any of the signed kids before they met w/the new coach/staff anyway, I wouldn't think. Any new coach will have a crack at them. Second, I'm sure parents/aau/handlers have all addressed the issue w people who can give them real answers, well prior to signing.
