DJ3 on Academic Suspension

Postby aaives481 » Tue Dec 28, 2010 3:58 pm

Supposedly he has been suspended for the spring semester, and possibly next season? Horrible news if we lose him for next year.

That's a relief, hopefully he won't miss the 2011 season.

Should just be cut. Surely they are putting these guys with the right professors. That means they aren't even making a token effort to pretend to try. No excuse.

so, what exactly is your source to support this assertion?

sounds like a lot of speculation at this point.

and where is the ALEC (Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center) http://smu.edu/alec/ again???

Oh thats right... I remember, it is in Ford Stadium... That sure was nice of June and SMU to make sure it is convenient for student athletes to have a close extra resource for their academic purposes...

It is ridiculous that any football player is placed on academic suspension with all the opportunities given to them to succeed academically. SMU just added another player to the "All Academic Suspension Team"...

sounds like he passed at least 6 hours (to be eligible for bowl) but does not have enough hours to reach his required Academic Progress Toward Degree requirements.

No sympathy for players who can't pass. They have every resource available to help them succeed.
