Herrera's was my Friday night staple all through college. Great homemade Tex-Mex and BYOB. You might also check out Pepe & Mito's (Deep Ellum). It's the world's best Tex-Mex, and I've made it my life's mission to test them all.

Bob Sharp is a part owner in Manny's. Great brisket tacos. Even better... thy their brisket chimi.
