Guess somebody had to play UConn.

Yup. And they both got a $17M payday. Hard to believe an 8-5 team like that was deserving of that kind of scratch.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.

Note TCU nor the MWC will get 17 Million for beating the No. 5 team in the Country and finishing No. 2 with a 13-0 record. They will get 8.5 Million and the other 8.5 Million will go to the other non BCS conferences. That is complete [deleted]

I am still waiting to hear the Ohio State president explain why a crummy team like UConn gets a BSC game and a very talented and good Boise State team doesn't deserve a BSC game.

The real miracle is the BSC didn't pit TCU against UConn. I remember the first BSC buster, Utah, was stuck playing a pitiful and unranked Big East Pitt team. Nothing says fairness like pitting the non cartel that functions as a monopoly team against the worse cartel that functions as a monopoly team.
