I trust JJ's judgement, of course. But on paper Preston is a 5.5 prospect with no BCS offers. He's also short and was surrounded by unbelievable talent. Reminds me on paper of Chris Sanders.

Give me some good reasons to get worked up about him.

He had BCS offers...Colorado and Cincy come to mind...

Rivals shows that he was interested in Colorado but no offer. And no mention of Cincy.

That bad a** made one of them a four star and two of them three stars.

And no Nick, I don't have an account on Rivals. I am just reading the free stuff over there and am trying to get a feeling for why this guy isn't the average, undersized, run-of-the-mill mid-major quarterback he appears to be. The info on the Colorado and Cincy offers certainly helps to begin to dispel that. Give me more.

Also there were other schools with interest that backed off before offering because he was so committed to SMU, and yes, his talented WRs.
