I think everyone understands the priority of FB and BB over other sports, but in defense of Water Pony, an upgrade to our Swimming and Diving facilities would probably return SMU to Top 10.

No other SMU sport that can make that claim.

I personally would love to see us make that improvement. (of course after Moody and FB upgrades)

Right. Priorities are very important, especially in this time of uncertainty concerning conference realignment. We could win ten consecutive national championships in swimming and no one would give a [deleted].

I'm curious where SMU would put an IPF. I'm sure it has been discussed, but I wonder whether an off campus sports facility would be best. I'm sure there is an available track of land east of 75 (close to SMU) that could be purchased and used as a multi-purpose facility for several sports (I think I'm one of the few that hope a baseball team is on the horizon).

Baseball ain't happening anytime soon. If ever. Only way is if were a req for membership in a better conf. Ipf should go where the intermural fields are.
