UCONN booster trying to get back gift...

Postby NickSMU17 » Tue Jan 25, 2011 11:28 am

"The primary reason [former UConn coach] Randy [Edsall] took another job is because he couldn't work with you," Burton wrote to Hathaway, according to the report. "You are not qualified to be a Division I AD and I would have fired you a long time ago. You do not have the skills to manage and cultivate new donors."

My favorite comment about this:

"$3 million doesn't even get you into the game"

Signed,

SEC booster.

We need a lawyer's opinion. Can he actually get his gift money back? I thought that could only happen if the school didn't put the money into the programs the donor specified.

Allowing a booster to run the football program? No problem!!

$280 Million is a heck of a lot larger than $7 Million. I have only two words for this discussion. "Burgers" and "Tide".
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
