Neither got shafted. Hampton is a victim of an otherwise anemic offense. ShanD just didn't have the numbers.
Hampton had less than 500 yards for the season. If the offense could have stayed on the field longer (especially early in the season) it might have been a different story.
ShanD made great yards per carry, but he was merely 6th in the league for total yards. The kid from Nevada had more than double ShanD's production. It's important to realize though that ShanD only got 1 carry in the first half of the year. In addition, he split a lot of time with Kincade the last few games too.
Next year, I hope you'll be seeing both of these guys heading up a bunch of All-whatever lists.
