11:47 this morning... To the student body,
We can't thank you enough for your support last night in our "come from behind" win against ECU. Our players and coaches all credited you for being the reason we won last night. The energy you created in Moody gave us the boost we needed to win. We are now one game from first place in Conference USA. Our next game is at home next Wednesday against Tulane at 7 p.m. We hope to see you there.
Sincerely,
Coach Doh

Wise, wise man. He gave props to the students in his press conference last night. Hopefully, more people will continue to show up at games as we make a push to be a #13 seed in the tourney.

Guess I better show up and shout at the free throw shooters. I know I can get credit for at least 4 points again.
Coach may even start posting on his Facebook soon.

Would have loved to watch that comeback last night. Things seem to be heading in right direction on all fronts. A gritty bunch digging in finding ways to win. Impressive defense. Better recruiting. Talent in the pipeline. Growing student support. Uh oh, don't look now but maybe SMU hoops is on it's way.

Good turnout last night. Hopefully they come back.
They seem to like that stadium song, might want to put that on the soundtrack for Moody.

The student body at the SMU end of the court was impressive and loud. And they were appropriately into the game. Given some of the near mausoleum environments in Moody, I would suspect it was a nice change for the team. It would be nice if the football team showed up en mass and sat at the band end. that way they would be close enough to the opponent's coach to give him some pointers. I have found that opponent’s coaches and their team always respond to well meaning advise.

game day atmosphere STARTS with the students; as their numbers and enthusiasm grow, we can look forward to the re-birth of Moody as one of the great snake pits in the region.

Lets hope they have even more students next game. But the ones that were there last night were vocal and had good energy. Doh is doing a good job working the crowd as well as the student body, before and after the games.
