The weather matters just a bit to the 100,000+ who try to get there on time.

OK, now that's just mean.

You really need a weather change to find a reason to laugh at Stretchface?

I wonder what it will do to the travel plans of everyone flying in. I don't know if DFW is closed now, but if that lingers into Saturday, travel could get really dicey. Would the NFL re-sell those seats? I assume they can't ... but they also don't want empty seats.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, here are my nominees for the two dumbest jobs in sports:
• Whatever idiot decided there needs to be "aerial coverage" of games played in domed stadiums
• Those morons who come out and dance like their lives depend on it to the halftime shows ... even when the performers are older than the dancers' parents and the dancers presumably have no idea who they're listening to.

You know Jerry will have the Super Bowl back in DFW metro within the next six or seven years. He is one of the more powerful owners in the NFL and to good of a salesman.

5 years (SB L, 2016), having a domed stadium that can seat over 100,000 people will put Cowboys Stadium in the unofficial SB rotation.

Correct, though we did have something like 50 hours straight below freezing in January.

They are using Magnesium Chloride apparently...I don't think it works as well as good old salt.[/quote]

One of the Houston newsmen stated this morning that Houston roadcrews had used the magnesium chloride b/c we were almost guaranteed 1-3 inches of snow, but since we had ice and no snow, the magnesium chloride was not effective. Salt or sand works better for the ice according to his report.

All this could have been avoided if the NFL didn't take a week off to for the Pro Bowl and just went straight to the big show. If that were the case it would have been really nice and warm outside.

I am ready for college ball too. By the way, it's an owners lockout not a players strike.
