The "meatball level" is the level where you get food (meatball sandwiches I guess) at halftime of the basketball games, right?
No sandwich, just meatballs actually.

Season Ticket Renewal
No sandwich, just meatballs actually. Mustangs Abu!
Season Ticket RenewalI don't know if this tastes like a $500 meatball, but it's pretty freakin' good.
Derail the Frogs!
Season Ticket RenewalI may go Jstang on them this year.
Re: Season Ticket Renewal
If you go in at the $500 level, no reason to sit in 209, you need to upgrade your tickets to closer to the 206 at least.
Season Ticket RenewalThat's what the grass end zone is for. î• or front row on the upper level.
Re: Season Ticket RenewalThey will allow you to stay in 209 even if you give $1,000 or even more.

Re: Season Ticket Renewal
But I promise there will be no problems if you go ahead and send in $500 or $1,000. If anyone gives you grief you send them to me.** ** Immediate family excluded. ![]() All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Season Ticket RenewalIf you really do wish to contribute, do it through one of our ponyfan.com Mustang Club money raisers. I donate through BUS. I think Dutch is one, 35straight is one, MustangBill, even smupony94 is I believe but he has forsaken us on ponyfans. They all have their teams that raise donations and would love a donation form you even if it were $25. I am just a mere donor and no good credit will be derived by using my name.

Re: Season Ticket Renewal
Actually, think its meatballs on a toothpick.
Re: Season Ticket RenewalThe Mustang Club has loyal and hard working members that annually work to get new members and renewals. They work in teams and compete to get the most money raised. I am surprised that a few have not already messaged you based on this thread. Anyway, Mustang Club membership has it's benefits and can be worthwhile. Of course there are the meatballs. At the football games there is a free meals and adult beverages available at a certain level. If you are in Dallas you can take advantage of more special events. You really should join. $500 would be a good level if affordable but even $25 gets you started. Higher donation gets you better ticket preference for football, but as said before, 209 is always available at any level.

Re: Season Ticket RenewalI know these guys do a good job with their efforts and time. The mustang club fails to do good job educating fans on the benefits and promoting themselves. Seems like new fans
Have to seek out info on their own.
Re: Season Ticket Renewal
we volunteer for the mustang club's annual fundraising drive, the Morgan Campaign.... The Morgan Campaign is named for Herman "Sleepy" Morgan, a former SMU football coach and fundraiser. Morgan came to SMU as part of Rusty Russell's first coaching staff in 1950 and was the Mustang freshman coach for 25 of the next 26 years. Morgan, who acquired the nickname "Sleepy" by falling asleep in one of his classes at Sulphur Springs High School, is still considered an SMU treasure. He quickly became one of the greatest recruiters in Southwest Conference history. His very first recruit was Port Arthur's great running back, Frank Eidom. Morgan's first class also included future Mustang greats Ed Bernet of Highland Park and Duane Nutt of Corsicana. Other Mustang greats recruited by Morgan included Forrest Gregg and Don Meredith. When Sleepy retired from coaching in 1976 he wanted stay close to SMU and was encouraged by friends to help the Mustangs by raising money for the Mustang Club. He continued to use the same down-to-earth approach he said he learned naturally as a youngster on a farm in Sulphur Springs. Whether he was getting a great recruit or raising money, he was "putting hay in the barn for his Mustangs." Sleepy's approach was very personal. He would send a personal handwritten letters that became legendary. When asked why he did it this way, Sleepy said, "I do it to help the team and because I love SMU." Morgan passed away in 1993 and the next year the SMU Mustang Club Board of Directors voted to change the name of the Mustang Club Annual Fund drive to the Morgan Campaign. Every year since, volunteers have worked to continue "putting hay in the barn" for the Mustangs. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
