Ok, I witnessed the Dallas UH game. Vast differences. First, we are guarding the 3 pointer. Second, we are hitting the inside shots. And last, no second chances We are doing a better job of rebounding. One vast improvement is we are subing a bit more and letting our starters get a breather. I am impressed by our improvement since the last time we played UH. I just hope it last the 2nd half.

If we can get another guy scoring, we will give them fits in the second half. This game is ours if we can avoid another UTEP....

Quick stats. We are shooting 62.5 % to 52% from the floor. We are getting killed on points off turnover 2-10. And we have 8-4 turnovers so this hurts. Bench point we have 0 and UH has 5. 3 pointers, we are 50% with 6 made and UH at 44% with 4 made. we are doing a much better job rebounding 14-8

Two things:

1) No matter the outcome, this is a team/program/system that the league hates to play against.

2) To those that think this system holds a player down, we have some statistical monsters playing inside and out. Kids w/the kinds of stats that get you noticed

Just watched my Huskies beat G'town. Now for a win by SMU!

All in all, we had a vastly superior first half compared to the Dallas game. The question is can we have as good a second half that we had in Dallas. I am impressed by our disciplined defense and intensity in rebounding. And I like the fact we are scoring inside.
