As far as recruiting WRs, coaches can now point to Emmanuel Sanders as a key example of success at SMU and subsequently at the next level.

"There is always a shot I could decommit. Maybe I committed too early, let’s say that. Somehow maybe I take a visit and fall in love. That is probably the only shot. It is going to be pretty hard. I will just be honest with you."
Well we got to the Visit part. Here's to hoping he has the perfect weekend.

I'd be happy either way, but SMU could probably use him more both on the field and for recruiting momentum.StallionsModelT wrote:SMUtrojanFAN,

Every USC recruit should have a backup this year. What if the NCAA does enforce their initial scholarship limitation and USC decides to cut back in 2011-12?
Re: 2012 USC Commit Jordan Payton Visiting SMU
I think the youngsters are talking about our coaches. The SMU players say our coaches are different than coaches everywhere else. These guys are special. Poney Up!

Maybe because June's last two top receivers will be getting NFL paychecks this fall.StallionsModelT wrote:We play in a meaningless conference half the country away when he has offers from virtually every major BCS program in the nation. Why are we the only non AQ school in the mix for him?

"It’s hard to overstate how impressive SMU has been on the recruiting trail since the ACC announced the Mustangs would be joining the league”
