Aldrick made the list of risers by SI. JJ recruit Greg Salas (he redshirted during JJ's last year at Hawaii) also made the list.

Aldrick Robinson/SMU: Robinson started the day by running 4.38, one of only a handful of sub-4.4 wideouts. He looked fast in the drills, effortlessly catching the deep pass and showed consistent hands -- which was a problem in college.

Another site had him running two 4.38s-as I remember from last year-there is no real official time-just different sources that might record different times. Also a complimentary blurb below

He also had a 40'' vertical jump. Tied for 5th among WRs.

I don't know when Aldrick will end up getting drafted but the team that gets him will be drafting their futur 3rd WR at least, and maybe a starter someday (barring injury). Some guys are just players and he is one of them

Poor hands will hurt him in the NFL...

They talked a lot about ES on Sunday morning too. They kept comparing recievers to him. Talked about how he was a standout at the combine last year. Even put graphics for him up.

They should have talked about how, for one year, Aldrick outperformed Sanders. I think this guy will be another NFL success.

I don't completely disagree with his opportunity for success, but a lot of that will depend on which team picks him up. It's one thing to get drafted by a super bowl contender; it's a completely different game in Oakland.

Actually, any given player has a better chance for individual success at an Oakland rather than a Pittsburg due to the lack of competition. Which makes what Sanders has done even that much more remarkable.
