Nyk scored 2 pts tonight. It's now the sixth time this season he's scored in single digits. We've lost five of those games (exception was the ECU game where he scored 9 pts).
That is not a coincidence...IMO.

This goes on Doherty...He sat Nyakundi for half the damn game.....Nyk's only shot was a smooth swish.

Can Nyakundi play defense? No

Can Nyakundi post someone up and take him to school? No

Can Nyakundi catch and shoot lights out? YESSS..my god yes...

No excuse to give Harp that many minutes tonight....

Freaking play Nyakundi and ride him till you drop, or he gets in foul trouble..which was not the case tonight.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Robert can't handle the ball well at all but that isn't his job. His turnovers are killing us.

This is a system that is working somewhat, we lost road games to UTEP, Marshall, and tonight. Just stupid mental errors in all 3 games. No question we need more horsepower but all these games were WINNABLE. NO EXCUSES.

He had a very strange 11 at Marshall. I think he hit a 3 to start the game and then a 3 at the end of the game to make it close.

As did I. So what's your answer to my question? My answer to your question depends upon it.

shadow i didn't understand the substitutions either. At one critical point in the 2nd half, Harp, Mangrum and Losh were all on the floor the same time. How does that work? Losing a 10 point lead in the second half with a veteran club is not a moral victory. If you have the talent to get leads on the road, then you have the talent to win. We just aren't closing out games down the stretch. Need to beat Utep to at least have a winning conference season.

Disappointed but not unexpected....tough to win away from home with this team. Not enough firepower and why the sloppy play in the second half of all these games? Why not use ball fakes to throw off a overplaying quick defense?...Telegraphic passes have no excuses.
A must win at home on Saturday to feel good going into the Tournament and maybe one or two wins in the tourney and the season would be considered a success, for what talent is there. No post season after that though.

Totally agree...substitutions were iffy tonight....Doherty seems to want to will us to believe that we are deep.

We had no foul trouble tonight, no conditioning problems...

No reason not to play Papa, Rob, Mangrum, Walker, and J-Frog most of the game...

Doherty tried to be cute tonight and outsmarted himself.

Maybe though, he is crazy like a fox, and saving the big dogs for the touranment, and we go with our starters for 38 minutes each game and Harp is relegated to tearing tickets and bringing water...

Probably not...but I can hold on to that hope right now!!!!!!!

Actually, I was asking for someone's perspective. You want to pick a fight. Forget it.

You were looking for something that wasn't there. I haven't seen them play this year in person.

Sorry I even asked.

lol...the thought of Harp scanning tickets as people come into the Haskins Center makes me laugh.

Wasn't trying to pick a fight, and sorry if it came off that way. It was a sincere question.

IMO, Samarrippas has been a decent ballhandler this year. Not great, but not bad, and better than I expected. I'm trying to gauge what you like to see in a ballhandler before I answer your question.
