Posted this in one of the sanctions thread, but decided it was worth it's own headline. First media mention I've seen of possible postseason destination. The NCAA has accepted SMU’s self-imposed sanctions, which include placing the program on probation for two years and recruiting restrictions. None of the sanctions will prevent SMU from playing in a postseason tournament this season, expected to be the CollegeInsiders.com Tournament. http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/colleg ... etball.ece

Be nice to win just one darn game at a post season event....would be good to get another chance for Dia to prove himself as he really sucked the last game and also the next to last game of the season.

If this happens, I would love to see SMU vs. UNT. Understand that probably isn't a fit. But it would be fun.

I does us no good to lose to UNT. Let's go play someone from far away.

That's what I was wondering: what gives people the idea that we'd have to be on the road? If the games are cheap to put on, I'm not sure SMU couldn't host. Or is there a reason I'm not considering here?

I think these games are played in someones driveway. Make-it, take-it.

What did he have, 22 points, 15 rebounds? I know he missed a few FTs but he certainly didn't "suck"
