That's exactly what happened. But, and hear me in the right way, could Sasser have operating in a more disciplined atmosphere? He was all about creating something from nothing.
just not a system/player match. I had a discussion about Sas a year back, about what he would have been like as a PG in Calipari's dribble drive. It's an offense based on spacing & positioning, but the first rule is get big PG w/great handle, and let him get to the rack & make a decision, preferably finish.. We just jacked up awful shots. Watching Willie D launch from deep still haunts me
