Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way back*Rookie cornerback Sterling Moore just keeps making plays, just like the other Moore on the team.
It’s getting to the point where the Raiders might not be able to overlook the undrafted free agent who prepped in the Bay Area at Deer Valley High School. Moore faces an uphill battle for a roster spot, if only because Van Dyke, Chimdi Chekwa, Jeremy Ware and Walter McFadden arrived via the NFL draft. Moore showed once again Saturday night that he is capable of playing at this level. On one play, he read the route right away, broke on the pass and knocked it away before the reciever had a chance to make a play on the ball. From afar, Moore has outplayed the aforementioned four other cornerbacks. We’ll see if his coaches feel the same way. http://www.ibabuzz.com/oaklandraiders/2 ... 17-3-loss/
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backWell alright Sterlo!
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backSounds like that knee is 100% — good luck, Sterling!
I really shouldn't drink and type.
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backA good chance of making the team: http://www.insidebayarea.com/top-stories/ci_18800099
STERLING MOORE: All the way backIt would be great for him, and for us. The more SMU players in the Pro's the better our argument for B12
Mustangs Abu!
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backhe first wave of announced cuts are a bit of a surprise. Walter McFadden and Lito Sheppard were both released. This is good news for Sterling Moore. The fact that Moore may make this team is a testament to Hue Jackson's statement that on-field performance was going to be the determining factor in cuts.

"More DBs falling by the wayside for the Raiders. Stevie Brown Jeremy Ware join the new list of ex-Raiders with Walter McFadden and Lito Sheppard. This means that Sterling Moore and Joey Porter are virtual locks to make the roster now." http://www.silverandblackpride.com/2011/9/3/2403142/oakland-raiders-roster-cuts
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way back
I am so happy for Sterling!...a quality kid deserves this....
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backThats good stuff
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backWell this sucks. However, I do think that he will either catch on with another team or end up on the Raiders practice squad.
Re: STERLING MOORE: All the way backI'm betting on the practice squad.
