you've got to be kidding, right? Only question for this season is whether McDermott is now the starter until he tanks. If that becomes the plan, KP will certainly be a quality backup. This is a senior laden team and this team should compete for the CUSA championship we may have dreamed, but most of us knew coming in that we would probably lose to both A$M and TCU. We have tough CUSA games against Houston, Tulsa, USM and UCF but we should at least be more competitive with those teams a blowout loss like this is a character tester; let's see if the guys respond or let this very disappointing loss ruin their season

You know, A&M looks pretty polished up. They are better than I think most on this board were giving them credit for. They are far better than the Tech team we started out against last year. And Tannehill is a very good QB.

If we continue to play like this UCF, cougar high, Tulsa and who knows who else will totally kill us.

I wasn't expecting a win, but I was hoping for a consistent effort from our starting QB with improvement from last year. And for a close score.

Really? This seems exactly like the SMU team I've watched the last few years. When you need them to show up the most, they don't.
The type of team that we have been used to last 2 years is one that pees the bed against legit teams and even some lesser teams but has just been good enough to get to some bowls. We were just 15-12 the past 2 seasons.

Cougar High, yes. UCF and Tulsa will be good games if we play like this.

Didn't realize he is the QB coach at Pitt.

OI was expecting the D to be more physical and improved. COmpletely manhandled. Terrible tackling. Don't see all that off season improvement we have all heard.

I'm not saying we'd be winning, but it would look more like a 35-20 game than 43-14.
When you play good teams they force you to make those mistakes. Spotting points is an indicator of a teams talent level. Guarantee tamu kicker doesn't hit himself with the ball.
