the D is playing great, but it won't be long before they run out of gas and I'm afraid the rout will be on. We really need to bring in some playmakers on offense. Things will be better when we get past Boise and Fresno. I like some of what I see tonite. I do think we will be very competitive in the not too distant future.

One cannot give up the field position we are giving up. What has been our best starting field position? The 20-yard line. That is not acceptable. Our special teams are killing us. And our O had to do something. Anything to give us a little better field position. Our d is doing much better against a top 25 team.

47 offensive plays for Broncos and 19 for SMU in the first half! No way ANY team can with with this inept an offense. We have ONE first down!!!! Our defense is just doing what they can under terrible conditions. And of course, as usual, our special team play stinks. We are fortunate to be down only 21 points.

Munlin has 5 carries for 11 yds. What a difference the competition makes. We just need to get past the Boise and Fresno games and then start buillding for the future.
