Drive to Ft. WorthI'd highly recommend anyone going to the game take 183. Razorback v. Aggie game is at 11:00 at Jonestown, and since the Rangers got home field, they are playing at 4:00. I-30 is going to be a mess.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthAlso, it is easier to take the Forest Park exit off of I-30 and to avoid University Drive. Head south on Forest Park and when you get to the fork in the road go right and follow it until you hit Berry. You can park at Paschal High School and take the shuttle. It's cheaper and easier to go that way. See you at the game.
I hope that you have a fun time in my town of Fort Worth. Go Ponies.
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthI thought I heard on Ch. 4 this morning the Rangers were playing at 4:00 on Friday and then Sunday-has that changed.

Re: Drive to Ft. Worth
Either it has changed, or you heard wrong or they were wrong on Ch. 4.
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthFriday is 4pm and Saturday is 6pm for the Rangers.
Drive to Ft. WorthFriday at 4, Saturday at 6

Re: Drive to Ft. WorthIf you live north, take 635 to 121 South. Follow all the way to downtown where you can get on 30 west to University or take 35 south to Berry street and head West to the campus.
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthAnd I recommend the chili con carne and cheddar cheese omellete or the German pancakes at the Ol' South pancake house on University Blvd.
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthSomeone rent a helicopter and fly me out there in style
Drive to Ft. Worth
Ol' south is IHOP or Denny's repackaged. I recommend to stay away.
Re: Drive to Ft. Worth
Are you open to being the pregame skydiver?
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthKnowing you, you would dump me in Denton
Re: Drive to Ft. Worth
Thanks for the tip Sewanee. I think after our traditional pre-game meal at Joe T's we may catch the free shuttle. How often does the shuttle run and where does the shuttle drop you off? "THE SMU BLVD - - NO PLACE ELSE" (retired)
Re: Drive to Ft. Worth
I was thinking the same thing. Forget sitting in traffic with the rest of the schmucks. Just point and laugh as you fly over. But where do you land? I don't want to walk real far.
Re: Drive to Ft. WorthThe shuttle runs frequently before and after the game (every 5-10 minutes) at the Paschal High School Parking Lot. After the game they busses leave as soon as they are mostly full, again every 5-10 minutes.
From Joe T's you can head south on Main st, hang a right at the courthouse, and then follow the signs to Forest Park Blvd. Forest Park Blvd will wind along the river, cross I-30, and eventually lead you directly to the Paschal High School Parking Lot. You should be able to avoid some of the game traffic. Have fun at Joe T's
