Other locations: SMU is touting Barley House as official game-watching location, and I know several enjoyed Gordon Biersch last week (food is great, and they have far better wait-staff-to-customers ratio than the others, as I recall. I'll be in Fort Worth Saturday, but I plan to watch a road game at each location before the season is over.

I'll stick with 1st and Ten. I usually stop there for the great food when I am in from Houston. More importantly, 1st and Ten is a huge supporter of our Mustang sports programs.

If SMU is touting the Barley House as an official watching party location does that mean the owners are supporters or alumni of SMU?

KAW, thanks. Been to the Barley House, not a bad place. I would rather go to 1&10, better Burgers and cheesefries.

I liked it better when it was the Green Elephant. And the Green Elephant was the Rhythm Room. Or the Stone Pony. Or Stempy's.

it means owners paid $5,000 to SMU Athletics. they must make a lot of money over there on Yale Blvd.
