VIDEO: Post-game interviews, and lots of them

Postby PonyPride » Sun Oct 02, 2011 3:57 am

PonyFans.com caught up with SMU head coach June Jones and several players after Saturday's 40-33 win over TCU.

Note: some of the camera work is a little shoddy (moving camera, etc.), for a few reasons:
1. I'm not a camera guy
2. There were a lot of people — players, coaches, support staff and media — jammed into very small space (because of the construction at TCU's stadium, the Mustangs' locker room was a large trailer). When people came by, we got bumped. Sorry.
3. In addition, the deck and ramp were pretty shaky. When people walked by the camera bounced and shifted.

That said ... here you go:

Head coach June Jones

Quarterback J.J. McDermott

Wide receiver Jeremy Johnson

Defensive end Taylor Thompson

Wide receiver Darius Johnson

Cornerback / special teamer Chris Parks

Linebacker Taylor Reed

Wide receiver Terrance Wilkerson

I think I am just as proud of these kids as "normal" young men as I am as them as players. They all seem to have a good head on their shoulders. Good interviews PP.

Unless you have some fancy NASA-designed computer system, I assume loading those took hours. Thank you, PonyFans staffers, for getting these interviews (at least some of which nobody else has, of course), and thanks for spending the time to share them with us.

Way to go, Ponies!

Loved Taylor Reed at 2:06

...and I just had that Iron Skillet and it's pretty heavy; and its great to bring it back to Dallas tonight

Need some photos of the Iron Skillet as we regain possession.

Anyone?
