Big 10 talk came out of left field. Absolutely no chance.
Jones said he would probably reach out to Patterson "after he settled down a little bit." Then Jones laughed.

Why would you want to be in the Big Mess where one school runs the entire show? I'd rather have room to grow as a team in the Big East with a shot at BCS bowls, or (i know it is highly unlikely) take the impossible grind of the SEC but at least have more money and equal standing with all teams in conference. Vandy may have an impossible path, but they are never left having to threaten lawsuits like Baylor just to try and keep their conference together, or worry about one school trying to be bigger than the SEC like UT does. Or we grow in the Big East and position ourselves well for the next shuffle. UT could bolt for the PAC12 once their conference TV money start to shrink due to the new less valuable teams being added

This whole situation is a cluster[Gary Patterson]. TCU can go [Gary Patterson] themselves.

Please excuse me, I have run to the bathroom and take a big [Gary Patterson].

TCU isn't the issue, folks...good for them. They just cut travel expenses by 60% from the BE tie-in.

They earned the position they now enjoy.

The frogs were already BCS bound. Nothing has changed from that perpective. They are in a place we would like to find ourselves.

This last week's victory could not have come at a better time. They get an invitation to the Big 3 and the 7 Dwarfs. The team that just danced on them at their own house is now getting mentioned for a BCS home of its own...that mere mention is a new occurence from just a few year(s) ago.

Trust the Italian and the 'Grove' man. The day is not over yet.
